“There is a little colony of Siah-Posh Kafirs at Gourdesh
or Istrat, an extremely overcrowded little village. The
Gourdesh folk are said to be very difi’erent from all the
other Siah-Posh Kafirs, and to be, in great part, a rem-
nant of an ancient people called the Aroms. I believe the above list includes all the Siah-Posh Kafirs.”(p-77)
” In Kafirist;in tradition the Gourdesh (Ishtrat) people are
said to be partly descended from the Arom people, and to
be partly of Jazhi descent. It is related that a man from
Aromgrom, in Arormia, formed a union witli an Ishtrat
(Jazhi) maiden under somewhat peculiar circumstances,
and that their son is the diiect ancestor of Shcrmalik, the

Gour In India
As far as the history of Malda traces back, the whole tract of Malda is covering the extensive landscape including the areas of Tar, Diara and Barind. There is a mention of the Gourpura town in the account of Panini and the relics of the Gour kings in the region indicates the history of Malda is as old as the Gaur Kings in Bengal. The ancient history of Malda, recounts that the entire region of Malda (Gour and Pandua) was a part of the kingdom of Pundravardhana. These two cities -Gour and Pandua being the most prosperous cities used to be the capital of Bengal in the ancient and the medieval times. Finally these two cities with the agglomeration of the English Bazaar Town constitute the present district of Malda.
The Suryavashi Rajputs of Gour are descendants of the Rajput Pala Dynasty. which ruled ancient Bengal ., then known as Gaur. Its capital was Lakshmanabati, named after the Pala king Lakshman Pal, under whose patronage the first literary work in Bengali, “Geet Govindam”, was composed by the Bengali poet Jaydeva (circa 1200 AD).
Some old texts of the British raj refer to the Pala rajputs as Gour or Gaur Rajputs. Government gazettes of the British era have references to Gaur Zamindars in Uttar Pradesh , Madhya pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Now we know that Gaur and Pala has connection.
Let us know about Pala.
The Pala Empire was an Indian imperial power, during the Classical period of India, that existed from 750–1174 CE. It was ruled by a Hindu -Budhist dynasty from Bengal in the eastern region of the Indian Subcontinent, all the rulers bearing names ending with the suffix Pala (Modern Bengal pal), which means protector. The Palas were often described by opponents as the Lords of Gauda. The Palas were followers of the Mahayana and Tantric schools of Buddhism. Gopala was the first ruler from the dynasty. He came to power in 750 in Gaur by a democratic election.
According to a Pala copperplate inscription Devapala exterminated the Utkalas, conquered the Pragjyotisha (Assam), shattered the pride of the Huna, and humbled the lords of Pratiharas, Gurjara and the Dravidias.

Yes ,above book says rightly. Prygians (Gour or Pala ) merged with Franks and were called Frssians.
The Frisians are a Germanic Ethnic group native to the coastal parts of the Netherlands and Germany. They are concentrated in the Dutch provinces of Friesand and Groningen and, in Germany, East Frisia and North Frisia, that was a part of Denmark until 1864. They inhabit an area known as Frisia. The FRisia languages are still used by 500,000 speakers; dialects of Frisian are recognized as official languages in both the Netherlands and Germany.

Still doubt ?
Then look at two link that connect both Malda ya..both Malda
More than one name is used to refer to the Netherland, both in English and in other languages. Some of these names refer to different, but overlapping geographical, linguistic and political areas of the country. This is a common source of confusion for outsiders. In English the country is called ‘the Netherlands’ (or frequently – but inaccurately – ‘Holland’), while the people and the language are called ‘Dutch’. In Dutch the official (and predominant) terms for these are ‘Nederland’ for the country, ‘Nederlanders’ for the people and ‘Nederlands’ for the language, although they are occasionally (colloquially) called ‘Holland’, ‘Hollanders’ and (less frequently) ‘Hollands’ respectively.

Sanatan defnder of India
Now we know the Kafirs who faught at gate way of India for 1000 years . Now we have also list of the people ,who replied Macedonia on its own land. They were ancestors to Kafirs of Hindukush. The Entir lot is worshipers of Ancestors. Still they worship Sotne Henge ,a replica of Chakravyuh in which Abhimanyu lost his life.
Now it is also clear that “Artnad ” of Chaitanya , Tulsidas ,Mirabai and some southern Bhakt pulled them toward their ancestral land.
Thomas Raw paved road for them. Read notes of Thomas Raw.It is available on net. ” People of India are not religious”. was his first note.
There was Ram………………..!
